Event-Triggered Email
Event-triggered email is a term commonly used in the email marketing world. Put simply, this is just an email sent by a business to its subscribers that’s sent automatically as a result of an “event.”
Still not sure?
Say, for example, someone subscribes to your business for email alerts and that it’s your company policy to send subscribers an email on their birthday with a coupon. This email would then send automatically on their date of birth. In this instance, the “event” was the birthday, which “triggered” the sending of the email. Get it?
However, this is a simple example. In reality, event-triggered email is so much more than that.
Entrepreneurs can harness the power of automated emails to strengthen their brand, stay in touch with customers, and engage with prospects. Regular (but not annoying) email campaigns containing relevant and informative content work wonders for showing customers you care about them… Without you having to send out hundreds of messages manually.
